e2v inc appoints Gerald R. Dinkel as President

e2v inc, the leading provider of RF power, high performance imaging and high-reliability semiconductor solutions, has announced that Gerald R. (Gerry) Dinkel has been appointed as President.  Mr. Dinkel will be located at e2v’s North America headquarters in Milpitas, CA.


Mr. Dinkel is a graduate in Electrical Engineering and brings over 40 years’ of experience in the electronics and aerospace and defense industries.  He has held multiple President and CEO level roles, most recently with Colt Defense LLC in Connecticut and previously with White Electronic Designs and Cubic Corporation.  Earlier, he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility with Westinghouse Electronic Systems.


Mr. Dinkel brings to e2v his strong general management, business development and engineering background, along with a proven track record of developing and implementing growth strategies.  He will lead e2v’s efforts to drive further growth, diversification and profitability in the North America market.
