Steve Blair, Group CEO e2v
Steve joined the e2v Group as Chief Executive on 3rd March 2014 and serves as a member of the e2v inc Board of Directors . Steve was Business Group Director for Spectris plc and Executive Board member responsible for the In-Line Instrumentation and Industrial Controls segments. He brings a wealth of international experience across both established and high growth emerging markets, in strategic planning and portfolio development, and has a proven track record in driving growth. Before joining Spectris, Steve was at Invensys plc, where his last position was President, Invensys Operations Management for North America based in Houston, Texas. He has also held various management positions at Silvertech Ltd. and Computing Devices Co. Ltd. Steve holds a B. Eng. (hons) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK.
Charles Hindson, Group Finance Director e2v
Charles Hindson serves as a member of the e2v inc Board of Directors. He is Group Finance Director of e2v Group Chelmsford, England and serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of e2v technologies plc. Charles joined the e2v Board in May 2009.
Charles’ last role was Chief Executive, and prior to that Group Finance Director, of Filtronic plc, a UK listed specialist electronics manufacturing group. Previously, he was Finance Director at Eutelstat S.A. and held various positions with the BT Group, British Gas plc, Price Waterhouse, and 3i plc.
John Iffland, Brigadier General USAF (Retired) – Chairman
General Iffland currently serves on the e2v inc. Board of Directors as Chairman. In his final military assignment, General Iffland was the Homeland Security Advisor to the Director, Air National Guard. His military experience spans three decades and includes command of a coalition air wing supporting combat operations in Iraq.
In addition to his position of leadership with e2v inc, General Iffland is Chairman of the Board of TSG whom he joined in February 2005 as member of the Board of Directors. In April, 2009 General Iffland became the CEO and in May, 2011 became the Chairman of the board.
His executive-level experience includes Vice President, International, with Argon ST where he developed new businesses in physical security and related programs while also establishing a branch of the company in the Middle East. Prior, he was Chairman of the Board and COO of Coherent Systems International, responsible for establishing a new corporate structure and processes for the rapidly growing company while developing new businesses and service offerings. Corporate revenues were doubled in 18 months prior to being acquired by Argon ST in 2007. General Iffland possesses a BS from California State University and an MA from Central Michigan University.
George Wagner, Rear Admiral US Navy (Retired)
Admiral George Wagner (Retired) currently serves on the e2v inc. Board of Directors. In his last active duty assignment Admiral Wagner served the Navy as Commander of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). During his command at SPAWAR, he moved the entire command from Arlington, Virginia to San Diego as part of the BRAC-95.
During his naval service, Admiral Wagner was the Commanding Officer on USS John Rodgers (DD- 983), Program Manager for Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, Assistant Chief of Naval Research, Force Warfare Systems Engineer of the Navy, and the Program Executive Officer for Cruise Missiles and all DOD Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Programs. Admiral Wagner was the Navy’s “Old Salt” (longest designated Surface Warrior on active duty), during his last year in the Navy. On his retirement, the Wagner Chair in Public Management was established in his honor at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
After his career in the Navy, Admiral Wagner worked for Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Sector as Vice President for SPAWAR Programs until 2007. He served as Chairman of the San Diego NDIA and AFCEA Chapters and was a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Defense Industrial Association for six years. Victor C. See, Jr, Rear Admiral US Navy (Retired)
Admiral Victor See (Retired) currently serves on the e2v Inc. Board of Directors. In his last duty assignment Admiral See served as the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for US Navy Space Systems; the Director of the Communications and Operations Directorate (COMM) National Reconnaissance Office (NRO); and Commander of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Space Field Activity (SSFA). With these three jobs, Admiral See was the leader of the Navy Space acquisition community comprised of officers, enlisted and civilians supporting the US Navy, Department of Defense (DoD), and Intelligence Community (IC) with space services. As PEO Space, he was the Executive Agent of the DoD for Narrowband UHF Satellite Communications (UHF Follow-On, LeaseSAT, and Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite programs). As COMM Director, he was responsible for acquisition and operations of the NRO’s global network including Information Technology, satellite and terrestrial capabilities.
Admiral See began his Navy career as a helicopter pilot flying the SH-2F and SH-60B. After receiving his MS degree, he transferred to the Navy community of Aerospace Engineering Duty Officers (AEDOs). As an AEDO, he held numerous Aviation and Space acquisition jobs as a project manager, systems engineer, and program manager. He did his Major Program Manager tour on a classified Space Program.
After his career in the Navy, he was the Senior Vice President of Integrity Applications Incorporated (IAI), an award-winning veteran-owned aerospace systems and software engineering firm based in Chantilly, VA. IAI is a ‘Great Place to Work’ and was ranked #2 Best Medium Company in America (2010-2013) by the Great Places to Work Institute/Fortune Magazine. Admiral See is a strategic advisor for a Space systems engineering firm, an aerospace consultant, and a Senior Mentor at Lehigh University’s Enterprise Systems Center. Brad Little, General Manager, e2v inc
Brad Little serves as a member of the e2v inc Board of Directors and as the General Manager for e2v inc. Brad joined e2v in 2013 from Texas Instruments where he held a variety of P&L, management and leadership positions. He brings a wide breadth of international experience in developing and executing strategic plans targeting the high reliability market and has a proven track record in driving rapid growth in the Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace and Defense markets.
Brad received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and an MSEE from National Technological University.
